The Character's Grave Input Here, you make your characters, post a descriptive picture for them and post their backgrounds. Please make sure to create a character sheet before you start role playing along. At the least post a picture to have a visual image of your character. You can post a drawing of them in here but if its only character related. Be creative with your characters. Don't only make them vampires, demons or elves. Mix them in, create personalities, create meta-humans or other species. You can make rip-offs of movies and such but make the character yours, not exactly pulled out from the story. Before Nocturne Sanctuary even existed and it's current ruler and creator, Lilly, the vampire goddess, all it was just remnants and scrapes of other planets joined in together when the plates of the universe decided to move due to the great wars fought in Azarath, the closest planet to Nocturne Sanctuary. And the story begins...
Triton was a great war-lord that ruled the planet of Azarath since it's existence without permission. He accomplished getting away with it by genocide and framing the creator--a god of the island--as dead, befriending his wife and making it his own spouse and queen of the planet. For centuries, poor Azarath was enslaved until the creator of the island decided to make it's triumphant return. Lestat--the creator of Azarath and of one of the seven gods--led the people to anarchy--those with rebellious rages complied without hesitation--and by his own self, claimed warfare over the planet to claim it back to it's rightful owner. Lauren, the queen, decided she'd make her escapade back to Earth with her sister Raven, but in the attempt, she was murdered, causing the god great pain and anguish. Before he continued with his chagrined war, Lestat decided to send away both his daughter and son away to Earth as well to protect them, but in the way, a failure to launch directed them towards this vast piece of destroyed land with the remnants of the putrid cadavers of the destroyed citizens from Azarath. Lilly and Leroy, sons of Lestat and Lauren decided to, when they were a little more grown-up, clean the place and redeem it's beauty by luring in people with the magic given to them by the mighty seven gods of the universe. With their power at hold, they created the beautiful land to them that it is today named Nocturne Sanctuary in commemoration of the citizens they were born with, relishing their memories to this world.
Throughout the years, things have gone horribly wrong, though. Although Lestat won the war and claimed his throne in his rightful place, his daughter Lilly and Leroy, both gods as well, have had the unfortunate events of encountering the not-so-good hospitality and demeanor of other citizens that try to steal their power or tried to steal their lands. These issues led both of the related gods to take extreme measures around Nocturne Sanctuary, making torture chambers and cursing their lands with powerful spells and dark magic to shoo away those evil pests that try to make their lives a living Hell. However wants to enter their own heavenly hell will have to face the dire consequences and the spooky haunting that now embraces this great land.
Nocturne Sanctuary, however, is now a great, big graveyard split in different regions. These regions have a specific name for according to the setting over the certain area and certain rulers are costumed for them according to how well the goddess thinks they can handle it. Even though there might be certain rulers for these specific split regions, the goddess over-powers all rules and rulers of Nocturne Sanctuary since the land--or now vast graveyard--is hers.
Nocturne Sanctuary is a sanctum and a haven all at the same time. In general, the whole vast land is always dark. The weather over some places are always humid and in some are very scarce and dry on purpose. Dark creatures from all over the world have come to dwell in here just from how famous this vast piece of land is and has been nurtured. The land also has a written prophecy for it and so does the goddess itself. Overall, her great bond with the land has bind her to it and she's now part of the land and it's great magic. Of course, the part that she's bind to is the magic, so anything occurring in the land is her due unless it's been assigned to a ruler. The power is so vast, so full of content that it had to be sealed upon a dark gem that's wrapped around neatly on the goddess' neck. Only she can take it off and use the magic within it or the seven, mighty gods will curse anyone that will try to steal it away from her. From the sky above, you can see the engraved gem's shape on the land, depicting the bond between the ruler and the land.
Fiction and Non-Fiction Write stories that are real or fantasy. Fan fictions and Non Fan Fictions are also permitted, but you must keep your contents at a low rating. You may be permitted to use R in some ratings with some restrictions. Not too much explicit content, violence or sexual insinuations or actions.
